Hollywood Pantages Theatre Rules
Pantages Theatre and staff wants all guests and visitors to feel safe and comfortable during their stay. To ensure everyone’s fun, the venue has created the following set of policies and guidelines that all guests have to follow.
Please take the time to read these rules, because failure to abide by them may result in expulsion without refund. If you have any questions regarding these policies please call the venue at (323) 468-1770.
To ensure that the Hollywood Pantages Theatre is a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all, guests are expected to comply with the venue’s code of conduct, including the following:
- Guests can take only water, non-alcoholic drinks with lids, and snacks from the theater inside. No alcohol or open cups are allowed.
- Guests cannot use photography or recording equipment during the performance. However, lobby photos are allowed.
- Any electronic devices must be turned off or switched to silent mode during performances.
- Guests should sit only in their assigned seats and have tickets ready for inspection.
- Guests showing signs of intoxication may be refused entry.
- Above all, treat all staff, guests, and performers with respect.
animals policy
Service animals are allowed at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. All service animals must be leashed or harnessed at all times, remaining with their owner. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted.
bag policy
Guests may take bags to the Hollywood Pantages Theatre subject to the venue’s bag policy. While all bags may be searched on entry, taking clear bags can make security much quicker. All bags larger than 12” x 12” x 6” will be refused.
Children Policy
All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children under 5 are not permitted in the theatre unless otherwise noted on individual show pages. Some shows or events do have a different age policy than the standard theatre policy, so please check the show page before you attend.
Covid-19 Policy
There are hand sanitizer stations available around the venue. The venue has been equipped with upgraded air filters. And the venue has touchless entry with mobile devices.
Dress Code
There is no dress code at the theatre. Attire should be comfortable and appropriate. In addition, your
Late Seating Policy
Patrons not in their seats when the performance begins are subject to a seating hold and will be seated at the discretion of theatre management at an appropriate time during the show. Seating holds vary by show. Pantages Theatre offers monitors in the lobby for late arriving patrons.
Lost & Found
Pantages Theatre understands that occasionally items are left behind at the theatre. They make every effort to reunite lost items with their proper owners.
Please note that given the performance schedule, it may take 48 hours for them to check and respond.
If you feel you have lost something at the theatre, email [email protected] and provide the following information to ensure a prompt response:
- date and time of performance
- exact seating location
- detailed description of the misplaced item
- contact information including daytime and evening telephone numbers.
Outside Food & Drink Policy
The Venue does NOT allow outside food or drink in the theatre. This includes restaurant take-out or leftovers.
Photography and Recording Devices
Cameras, cell phone cameras and any audio/video recording devices are strictly prohibited during the performance. “Professional” grade cameras are not allowed inside the theatre at any time. Pantages Theatre encourages patrons to take photos in the lobby before, during intermission and after the show.
Please note, that the Photo Policy inside the auditorium will vary depending on the production. Members of the ushering staff will advise as to the specific show policy upon entering the theatre.
Prohibited Items
Items prohibited within the Hollywood Pantages Theatre include, but are not limited to:
- Weapons (this includes knives, pepper spray, and weapons accompanied by a valid CCW permit)
- Professional cameras and recording devices
- Large bags such as suitcases and backpacks (coat and bag checks are not available.)
- Outside food and drink (this excludes water)
- Only service animals are allowed inside the theatre
- Any other item deemed inappropriate or dangerous by management
- Any other item prohibited by the visiting performer (refer to event details)
Cash policy
Cashless payments are encouraged at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. Accepted forms of payment include cash (at some outlets), credit cards (including Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express), debit cards, and mobile wallets.
Ticket policy
The Hollywood Pantages Theatre delivers tickets electronically. You may receive yours via email or through a mobile app. No paper tickets are issued. For more information, see your specific event page.
Smoking Policy
Smoking (including e-cigarettes), is prohibited in the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. Patrons who wish to smoke at intermission may exit the theatre so as long as they have their ticket stub or e-ticket with them when exiting theatre. Tickets MUST be presented upon re-entry.
