Pantages Theatre is an impressive art-deco structure that has the style and grace of a theater of the film age. It’s design is marvelous with an elegant starburst chandelier suspended below a blue backlit upper ceiling serving as a centerpiece for the auditorium ceiling. This creates a hypnotic effect that has captivated photographers especially considering the cloud projectors installed in the original setting according to historic photographs.
Whether you’re in the orchestra or the balcony seating areas, great care has been made to limit the number of obstructions to offer unbroken views of the shows and events on stage. Also, to allow guests to look at the gorgeous art deco design in between acts or before the show begins. Also, this seating capacity was chosen so that all chairs may be wider and offer more legroom than the original design which had nearly 1,000 more seats.
The Hollywood Pantages Theatre has a seating capacity of 2,703 guests. This is spread across two levels of the theater:
Orchestra
The orchestra section is level with the stage, providing an up close and personal view of each production. Tickets in the front rows, and those located in the center of the auditorium, are particularly highly sought after.
Mezzanine
The raised mezzanine level is above the orchestra section, providing an equally good view. As with the orchestra, front, and central mezzanine seats are popular — although all offer excellent views and acoustics.
All sections feature reserved theater-style seating with soft cushions and armrests. There are unobstructed views of the stage from all angles, ensuring a fantastic experience.
VIP seating
There are various ways to upgrade your experience at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. Seats located in the front rows and central positions are generally considered to be premium seats, although ticket prices can be higher. For a truly elevated experience, the venue offers a yearly President’s Club membership which guarantees a range of perks, starting from $5,000 per year.

For most events, this seating is reserved theater style seating with soft cushions, armrests, and sharp sightlines to the stage from all angles. In addition, guests can enjoy plenty of elbow room with guests for standard seating needs.
Accessibility Seating
Accessible seating is available in the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. However, there is currently no elevator to the mezzanine level. For this reason, accessible tickets are sold in the orchestra level only, with dedicated spaces for wheelchairs and seats with movable armrests. Accessible restrooms are available in the main lobby and on the orchestra level.

When arriving to a show at The Pantages, it is worth remembering to leave plenty of time on arrival. The main building doors will be set to open 45 minutes prior to the start time and 30 minutes before hand, you will be able to take your seats.
