Nearly 10 years ago, on 17 Feb, 2015, history was made as Hamilton debuted Off-Broadway at the Public Theater in New York City. It was this historic launch that was so well-received, which became a Broadway hit in August. Since then, Hamilton has been running not just in America, but in several destinations around the world.
Hamilton continues its success as it goes on a limited season in Los Angeles in September at Hollywood Pantages Theatre, typically well-known for showcasing the world’s most excellent productions and musicals.
Hamilton, the story of Alexander Hamilton himself, one of the U.S. Founding Fathers, has continued to inspire many fans all around the globe. The success of this Broadway musical from its birth started to grow larger and larger especially following the 2016 Tony Awards, where Hamilton was able to win 11 out of 16 nominations and cemented its ranks in Broadway and beyond. It also demonstrated to be enjoyable to a broader crowd due to the fact that this musical specifically opts to features genres currently trendding in pop culture, such as hip-hop, jazz, and R&B while showcasing a very diverse cast for each showing.
