Hamilton at Hollywood Pantages Theatre

After tours in the world’s most well-known locations including Broadway itself and London’s West End, Hamilton will now also be performing for a limited season this fall in Hollywood Pantages Theatre of Los Angeles, an equally regarded entertainment venue renown for its greatest amenities fit to host world-class plays and musicals.

The production honors the life of Alexander Hamilton, written and scored by the multi-talented Lin-Manuel Miranda, basing it off the 2004 biography of Ron Chernow. It tells the real times of Hamilton himself in a ‘hipper’ style, being devoted to the truth behind his life but with and musical styles that makes Hamilton very entertaining. The show really began off Broadway in the late summer of 2015 and was quickly met with incredible reviews from its premier. Along with a variety of critics and reviewers, The Washington Post, called it “making ecstatic history”, as Hamilton’s opening night with its incredible cast including the likes of the musical's creator Miranda himself in the title role and Tony Award winner Jonathan Groff, impressed audiences in its premiere with a spectacular opening night. Hamilton went on over the next ten years to collect 11 Tony Awards from sixteen nominations, as well as Olivier, Grammy, and Pulitzer Prize Awards.

Since it began in 2015, the production has toured to be performed in several entertainment venues around the globe, where it has been receiving continuously great reviews. More so, recently the touring cast in its Manila, Philippines’ performance, PEP PH describes the production as a “visual and sensory feast that adds layers of depth to the narrative”; “This musical is a masterpiece not because it tells a flawless story, but because it brilliantly captures the essence of the imperfect human experience, and in doing so, it achieves perfection on the stage”, they expanded.
